Poetry Film Award Ceremony

578 short films from 60 countries were submitted for the “8th Weimar Poetry Film Award”. The programme commission consisting of Ana María Vallejo (Bauhaus University) and Guido Naschert (Literary Society of Thuringia) nominated 14 films for the competition.

“Best Animation” and “Best Real Film” 1,200 euros each.
Audience Award (online and at the cinema): 250 euros each
The winner of the online audience award will be announced on June 1st 2023.

And instead of choosing one genre, she pursues them all: in front of and behind the camera, on and behind the stage, in the editing room and at the desk, in the recording studio, and in the cinema. From Bolivia to Uzbekistan, from Albania to Jordan, she instigates new perspectives on film, music and poetry, produces films as well as cultural events, and works as a director, curator, and musician.
