Location: LiteraturEtage, Marktstr. 2-4 (top Floor)
In this workshop, we will approach the topic of poetry slam and find our own ideas for texts. In addition to playfully exploring stylistic devices and forms of expression for the stage, we will write our own texts and text collages – together in the group or individually. We will also use tips and methods to improve our stage performance and presentation. The workshop will be rounded off with the practical realisation of the texts as part of a final workshop presentation.
Please bring a pen and paper.

Bas Böttcher
Born in Bremen in 1974, he is one of the co-founders of the German spoken word and poetry slam scene. His texts appear in textbooks and important collections of German-language poetry. He is the inventor of various media formats for poetry and the “Textbox” for live performances. He lives in Berlin.
